  1. Was your first year of college at a community college? At least in my state, most community colleges have an "academic renewal" policy. It allows the removal of D's and F's up to a certain amount of units and/or up to a number of semesters from a GPA calculation. Perhaps look into your college's policies on such things? That aside, you seem to be doing very well in your classes right now! Some nursing schools only take nursing prerequisites into consideration, see if that applies to schools in your area. If you're able to and willing, maybe you can relocate for nursing school. To answer your last question, if nursing school is truly what you want to do, of course you should press forward! There are many success stories on allnurses, reading some of them may give you hope. Focus on doing well in your classes right now, look into the application process of the schools you're interested in, and see if there's anything you can do to maximize your chances of getting in. I wish you luck on your studies, and I hope the meetings with the colleges go well.
