Thanks for the idea of calling the NV BON. for PH RN, trying to apply for Nevada, at this time, they're not requiring an active local license, based on what they told me. but then again, its on the list of requirements for CGFNS , the License verification. I talked to CGFNS, and told them what the the NV BON told me. But they wont accept verbal claims, so it must be written, like an email from NV BON stating its not a requirement in order for them to waive the license verification. I Asked NV BON to send me an email stating its not a requirement, and they're very kind to send me one. I need to print it and fax that email to CGFNS to possibly waive the license verification part. According to NV BON, it's not the first time they encounter it and lots of applicant asking for the same thing. It's an issue between the NV BON and the CGFNS requirements, and they say they gonna update it. long story short, my suggestion is, if you have the same issue as mine, follow this steps, and provide additional explanation why you're not renewing your license.For your application for the NV BON, also provide a copy of expired license, just incase they need it.

Im applying for Nevada RN license, and one of the requirement is to be licensed RN in the country where you finish your Nursing degree. Mine is expired already and in order to renew it, i need to apply for dual cit. then apply for the renewal, then they will fill up the license verification form. Any input on how to waived this part, license verificaion form? RN in Phillipines - expired license. Cant renew because US cit. already. Any info or additional docs about getting it waived on CES report Application. Called PRC to Renew but needs to be Dual citizen, and it would take a lot of time and money to go on that route. pls help! thanks
