  1. I graduated May 7th.. Took about a week off then studied about 5 days a week for 3 weeks or so.. I used Kaplan as well. 65% on diagnostic and did not do nearly as well as you did on the trainers... I think one was as low as 47%. I was so nervous but I went through with my scheduled NCLEX date on June 8th.. I got 75 questions and it took me about an hour and a half.. I found out Friday that I passed [emoji51] I'm sure that you will do fine based on your Kaplan scores. I would recommend doing the QBank questions as those are more similar to NCLEX than the trainers.. Good luck!!
  2. I just received my authorization email to test and I am kinda freaking out. I just graduated on May 7th and to be honest I just started reviewing again about 2 days ago. I would like to schedule my test and I was shooting for June 8th.. But that only gives me 20 days from today to review. I bought the Kaplan program and I have watched all of the pathway videos and am taking the diagnostic exam today. In your opinion, do you think 20 days is enough? Or should I select a later date?
  3. Yay!! Congratulations everyone!! [emoji322]I have 2 weeks left of school and graduate on May 7th!! It really can't go by fast enough. I took the ATI comp predictor 2 days ago.. So happy to have passed :)
  4. NICURNnerd I will be going to COT at the same time you will be!! It's awesome to already kinda know someone. And you're right. I looked it up and NTP is only for nurses with less than 6 months experience. So it looks like I'll be doing that while you're just orienting at SAMMC. Truebluefoo- the process for NECP was not too bad.. But it took me a long time.. I heard about the program back in 2007, but didn't really start getting the pre-recs done until 2010. I finished everything and applied in 2014 and was accepted. I can answer any specific questions you might have.. Just ask or message me.
  5. Hey guys!!! I was so excited to see that you made a post for AUG2016 COT! My name is Monika. I am still actually in nursing school. I graduate on May 7th and will take the NLCEX as soon as possible after that. My husband and I have both been active duty for about 10 years. We are stationed at Nellis in Las Vegas. I was accepted into the Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program (NECP) in 2014. I am going to SAMMC for NTP after COT. Are you both doing NTP there also?
