I saw that someone in this thread stated that her and her friend for a call saying they got accepted and I didn’t get a call so I immediately emailed my advisor last night and she called me this morning. (She is on vacation) staying yes I got accepted and that the letters are going out today in the mail. So if your advisor seems like they don’t know what their doing I’m so sorry about that because I been had that happen to me numerous times . I understand it, trust me. However, everyone that applied should be getting a letter by the end of the week per my advisor. I hope this helps

No I wouldn’t say that. I didn’t know some people were getting calls that they were accepted so I contacted my advisor yesterday and she called me today letting me know I got accepted and the letters are being mailed out today. To me, it seems like some of the advisors are all over the place.

That’s interesting. My advisor said they have the applicants that are accepted already and some advisors are giving the applicants a call but she also told me they are sending out the letter today in mail.

Congratulations! Are we expecting a call from our advisors if we are accepted ?

Hi I was just told this now via email from my advisor ----------------------------- “I was just told that we should know no later than next week. I am hopeful for early next week. I know it is hard to wait, but we will know soon.“

No :( but I heard from others, that we are suppose to hear sometime this week.

Hi, just received this email from my advisor. We’re your classes the science classes you petitioned and was it lower division the database? “Courses are not petitioned for transfer unless someone is an admitted student. So if you are selected for admittance, you would then submit your syallbi for review. Keep in mind some courses may have the same description but are upper division versus lower division. Hold on to the syllabi please. Thank you!”

Thank you! My advisor never mentioned that to me or requested that from me. I will be discussing with her first thing Monday morning. Did you petition a class and was it successful? If you don’t mind me asking.

Yeah definitely follow up with them and get to the bottom of that. There is obviously a mistake on their end or the school you are requesting your transcripts from. My application was finally completed about last week. As I had to wait for one school to send over my transcript and to follow up on people for my recommendations.

Yes it says 100% complete and then it displays a checklist of all the required documents that have been submitted. I would reach out to tour coach to follow up on everything. I contacted mine a lot LOL

My coach told me notifications if accepted or denied will take after application deadline which is May 15 but didn’t give me too much on that. My coach is keeping things very short with me unfortunately ? Okay gotcha, so May start date is considered “fall 2020” for them?

Deann Placencia. I feel like she’s helping but not giving it her all. I’m sure it’s stressful at this time, but also for us as well. Brandman univeristy is waiting on one of my colleges official transcript. However, it’s just sitting in the mail waiting for them to collect as I didn’t have the option to send electronically from that college. So I let my coach know and she said turn in an UNoffical transcript and fill out the unofficial transcript agreement. So I did, and I wasn’t able to download or save my unofficial transcript online so I sent a screenshot to the appropriate email the coach provided me with. Then the coach says that’s unacceptable. So I was like I don’t know what else you want me to do. I can’t download or save the unofficial copy. You guys have my official transcript in office. I shouldn’t have my application jeapordized by something that is out of my control. Then I asked well I can’t print it and send a pic and she says IDK if that will work but you can try...those words just showed me all that I need to know..very discouraging so know I contracted my school via email to see if they can send electronically urgent. It’s been a day and haven’t heard back and now I see that they are accepting people for fall 2020 when the deadline is May 15th and not all applicants haven’t been received. I’m just stressed now LOL

CONGRATS! ? that’s amazing! I’m now very discouraged by this program already. I applied for fall 2020 and the advisor/coach said the deadline is May 15th. How are people getting accepted when they haven’t reached the closing of the application period?

OMG first off, CONGRATS! I bet that is such a huge relief. I’m so happy for you! & Thank you, I needed this! I’m never going to give up! I know what I want to be one day it just sucks that the school system is like this especially with the TEAS exam. I hope this pandemic with COVID will change this. I have pretty much all pre reqs done expect humanities and chem and stats (I have biomedical statistics taken at National Univeristy) but IDK if that counts and all sciences done with all A’s and B’s. So I pray I get accepted. I’m tired of fighting LOL

Hi, I’m sorry to hear about the news but glad they encouraged you to re apply ! You must’ve been really close! I hope you reapply as well and do not give up. If you don’t mind me asking Did they tell you why you were denied? Also, did you have most pre Reqs done? Just asking because I’m trying to figure out if my application has a chance of getting picked. I applied for fall 2020 and I’ve been hustling through so many hoops trying to get into RN school ? Same to you!! And yes, I just now found out about this school and hopefully I get in. I’m currently an LVN and trying to get into the RN bridge programs and it’s so competitive. It’s the TEAS score that holding me back and that’s why I keep getting denied ?

Thank you. Is ACCSC an accreditation I should stay away from as well? Supposedly another school I was looking at has that accreditation and they said that their school was national accredited. Would this be safe to go to?

Thank you so much for taking your time to reply to me. I have a way more understanding now. I am going to shoot for my RN at Unitek and try to find a school that only requires RN license but so far no luck they want general ed as well so it looks like I have to repeat that anyways :/ and I'm 2018 a new law is coming into affect that if you want to work in a hospital you have to be an RN with BSN.
