  1. Hi, I recently found out that I received the nurse corps scholarship and I was wondering if any current scholars had any insight on the process of finding a job. I would really like to work in acute care in an ER, ICU or med/surge setting and have been getting mixed responses as to whether or not this is possible. Does anyone know if you can work in places other than primary, mental health, and dental care for an HPSA facility? Thanks!
  2. Hi, I was recently accepted into the BAT program at Binghamton and have been looking into the pros and cons as well. I talked to one of the nurses I work with who went there six years ago and she said it was a great program, that it was intense but that you get breaks every so often between a block of weeks which she said really helped. I am currently living in Ithaca, NY but am thinking about moving into the Binghamton area to be closer to the school. Does anyone have any advice on where to look for off-campus housing near Decker or commuting from Ithaca to Binghamton?
