  1. So I am trying to decide if I should buy the Kindle version of my textbooks or just get the regular textbooks. Kindle is obviously less to carry around and cheaper. I am just unsure of how practical it is to study with Kindle books. I have read books for pleasure but not a lot and not overly confident in my navigation skills with Kindle books. Any suggestions? Thanks
  2. I am 42 and am starting school in March to get my RN I currently have my LPN and have been working for over a year with my LPN. It has taken me much longer than most because I too am a mother and have chosen to go part time. Making this choice has made my journey longer but financially there was no other choice. The LPN program took 18 months and the LPN-RN program will take another 18 months. Keep at it, if you can get past the negativity/competition of other students you can get through it. All of our journeys are different and most of the students getting the higher grades may not have children/spouses pulling them in other directions. Good luck and keep going!
  3. Hello All, I am starting nursing school to get my RN in the end of March. I am currently a LPN and am searching for scholarships. All I have been able to find are the sites that try to get you to go to their schools. It has been frustrating to say the least. I am a nontraditional student and don't qualify for the mother's going back to school because I am married. If there is anyone out there that may have any information on legitimate scholarship opportunities I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance Jody
