  1. eg2014, would you mind telling me who you were certified through? I am looking at different training symposiums, but am worried about the legitimacy of them.
  2. There were 2 women in my room, but there were 3 different rooms. I didn't bring anything, I think they discourage that. They already know all of your stats. One woman asks the questions and the other is just there to take notes. It's very short and to the point, like I said they do not mean for it to be very conversational! I left the interview not feeling so great about it but I got in which is awesome. And it's not about all grades or experience. I had a 3.6 GPA and no prior healthcare experience, so don't feel like you won't get in. Just give it a shot!
  3. Second degree is accelerated, only 4 semesters. Upper division is 6. I'm doing second degree because I already have a bachelors and want to knock it out. We were just told at orientation that for summer, 70 upper division students were accepted and 30 second degree were accepted out of just over 500 applicants.
  4. They told us to not tell what the questions were... They were very simple though. I interviewed on Monday March 21st and got in the Friday after.
  5. I got in!! ☺️ At orientation now. The interview was pretty simple. They ask you 5 questions and tell you before hand that it is not a conversational interview, so you just answer the questions and you're done. I was in and out in 10 minutes!! So excited to start in May!
  6. No I'm in the traditional track!
  7. I was accepted for Summer!! My orientation is this Friday March 4th, what about you guys? Also, what are you going to wear? That may be a stupid question but I don't want to be over/under dressed.
  8. Ah, okay. Maybe the AVS decisions were made faster? I'm trying to keep positive!
  9. I applied for the traditional RN. I applied on 1/12/16.... I'm hoping I wasnt too late.
  10. I still haven't gotten an email. Getting a little nervous í ½í¸³ When did you guys apply?
  11. Yes, the essay has been completely eliminated. I feel like this could help me but also hurt me. If I receive an interview, I think I have a good chance of getting in because I'm really good with face to face contact over writing! The problem is, I'm worried that I will not get an interview. My science and overall GPA's are both at a 3.6.... Also USF office of admissions is really giving me the runaround and taking forever to admit me. Right now it's just a waiting game and it's killing me! Just hoping that the other applicants this semester don't all have stellar GPA's so I can get a chance to prove myself..
  12. Yeah, I heard the same thing.. I'm just so worried that the summer term is already filled up! I'd be really bummed if I had to wait until August. Did you apply to any other programs?
  13. Hey everyone! It may be a little early but I just recently submitted my application for Valencia's ASN General track program for Summer 2016 and wanted to see if anyone has received admissions yet!
  14. Hey guys, I'm starting the process of applying to the summer 2016 term as a second degree. Any extra advice about applying? Also how are all of you doing so far? Thanks in advance for any information!
