  1. After taking my exam on August 22nd and finishing in 75 questions I was confident that I passed. Days passed by and my Breeze account only said Pending but I got the good pop on Pearson. I was so worried that I may have failed but the test seemed too easy and then I started to doubt myself. As it came close to the one week mark I called the BRN and the guy I spoke to told me that everything looked good on his end and my results should be up within 2 weeks. Then 2 weeks hit and I called and they said wait until 4 weeks but my results were not on file. At this point I was frustrated and was constantly looking up forums on Allnurses because it made me feel better. Those of you who are at SDSU talked me into how there was no way I failed and in my heart I believed that too! Then the 3rd week came and I called and had the same guy answer from the previous week and he told me that he could send something to the licensing department and to wait another week. I called on Monday September 17th and Barry (who I spoke to the previous two times) unfortunately answered again he told me to wait because my results were not on file and he could send something to the licensing department. He told me this last week so I knew he did nothing. Then on Tuesday September 18th at 10am I decided to call the BRN again but this time instead of pressing 0 I pressed 1 and then 2! Then a sweet guy answered who worked on my case all day yesterday and even called me two times to communicate what had gone wrong and what he was doing! The last time he called was to tell me that I passed and my license would be up by today September 19th. The wait was finally over and I was so relieved. My results got lost (of course) by the BRN but today marks exactly one month of me taking my test. If anyone is going through the same thing as I did just know there is hope you passed and your results may have been lost like mine ! I can now say that I am finally Lauren RN after a month of anxiously waiting

  3. Yes I called and talked to Jason who is a nursing counselor or something and he said acceptance and denial letters were already sent out so if you haven't heard you are on the waitlist and will know after may 1st
  4. My friend had an 82 and got denied
  5. I have found it ! It's called SDCC Nursing Class of 2018
  6. I know! But she is in the program and was wearing her uniform ! I'm just going to wait and see how the class goes! Thanks!
  7. Num9I6wth im not bad mouthing the program I'm asking if anyone has heard anything about the program because when I went in to the nursing program floor a girl from the program pulled my friend and I aside and told us not to be in the program because it was horrible so it is making me nervous I want to be in a program that I will learn so that is discouraging me I'm sure of that happened to you as well you would question the program too
  8. The program doesn't start until fall and they are requiring a class that no one else requires. I have no problem with the program being challenged I have a 4.0 and nothing this far has been challenging to me. Also I know people who are alternates so it would be a waste of their time to do all this work and not even get into the program. I was just asking about the books because I don't want to pay for them and end up going to a bachelors program . Honestly I know this route is cheaper but I've heard a lot of people comment about how the dean has left and how the school is unorganized and how the students felt like they weren't equipped well enough like the other students from other programs. I'll just wait for the first day and see if maybe I can use books from the library ! I'm hoping I hear back soon from SDSU as I know people that have been denied for the nursing program and my status is still pending ! Thanks!
  9. Do we need the books for the 1 unit class I'm still waiting on Sdsu and Csusm thought this class was just familiarizing us with nursing not so much testing us. It's only a pass fail course with 1 unit three books seem a little too much
  10. You don't take three classes it's General chem which is one class and inorganic/organic chem is another class..... . Some schools will combined the two together . Look at assist.org or my link above it shows you need both chemistries unless you took the chemistry class that had the two combined which at my school would be chem 103. They don't offer that at my school so I had to take chem 100 and chem 130 in order to fulfill the requirement . You would have noticed you were missing something when filling out the supplemental so I'm sure you took the correct chemistry class that was the combined one where they taught all topics in one class
  11. I'm not sure where your transferring from but I'm transferring from SD Miramar college which is local and SDSU requires from us that we take General chem which is chem 100 and organic which is chem 103 sometimes schools combine them so if you need more help go to assist.org and put in your school from the drop down menu then put SDSU and choose nursing there you will see what you need to take here is an example of mine ASSIST Report: MIRAMAR 15-16 SDSU Articulation Agreement by Major
  12. Yes it was for nursing
  13. Two of my friends received emails yesterday saying they were denied I still have not received anything and it still says pending
  14. Not sure how many points this is but .. Pre req: 4.0 Culm:3.89 Teas 83.3% I have only taken the teas once but I might take it again to raise my score but I already had to enter my score on the supplemental so we will see!
  15. Jan 28th she said is a meet and greet with free lunch and so since she said please attend I'm just going to go... I will update you all if you miss anything... I had to switch my internship shift at the hospital so I am going to just go since I can't change it
