  1. Not only should you not beat yourself up about living at home while you're going to nursing school, you should let yourself off the hook about your age. I was in my mid-50s when I went to LPN school, and early 60s for RN. I find that I'm a much better student now than when I received a bachelor's degree in my early 20s. I also value education more now than I did then. Good luck in school and keep pushing ahead. You'll get there!
  2. Has anyone else been refused information by phone about Felbry's bridge program for LPN to RN? I am researching LPN to RN programs by phone, asking questions about plan of study, cost, transfer credits, etc. No other school refused to give me the information unless I come in to see their facilities. The sales pitch I received by phone was very of putting, and became very condescending, telling me that I need to come in to get the "whole picture" versus other nursing schools I've contacted by phone who have only given me part of the picture. The representative I spoke with by phone told me that I should care what the facilities are like when I told her that I was most interested in the plan of study and the cost. I was very much spoken down to, like I was stupid. No way, even if I get the whole program free, would I go to Felbry. Never!
