   I recently moved to Alabama and expected a much lower salary than my salary in Virginia. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually got a decent amount as a raise.

   I think it depends on where you live. In Virginia, there has been a recent change so anyone who is a nurse and is diagnosed with a mental illness or is hospitalized for a psych related illness has to be reported to the BON.
