  1. When did you get your email? I'm worried that since I've got nothing it means a big fat denial LOL
  2. Congratulations!! But also that really sucks!! Are you still going to go with UF?
  3. ***frantically refreshes email for the next two hours*** ??
  4. Congratulations!! That is great news!! I don't have anything yet! I'm excited though they're finally sending out news ?
  5. The wait has been insane. Will be super disappointed if there is no news tomorrow!
  6. I just wanna know! The anticipation is torture!! ?
  7. PMHNP route here! Good luck everyone. Hopefully we hear back soon ?
  8. I wonder how many drop their seats? And will they go into the denial list if it's longer than the 10 person wait list?
  9. I think we chose day/night on the application.
  10. If I get in I chose nights, but I really need days now SO I am totally willing to switch with someone.... IF I get in! LOL Hopefully today or tomorrow I get an email... I have 218.1 ..... SO idunno... cutting it close lol
  11. I wonder why they are doing it this way. "in batches" what does that even mean lol. oh well hopefully today is the day!
  12. Someone said maybe they are sending out emails as everyone accepts and replies!
  13. Here's an example.... Anatomy Score 56% divide by 4 = 14 * 1.2 = 16 Biology Score 78% divde by 4 = 19.5 * 1.2 = 23.4 Reading Comp Score 94% divide by 4 = 23.5 times 1.2 = 28.2 Math Score 96% divide by 4 = 24 * 1.2 = 28.8 Add 28.8 + 28.2 + 23.4 + 16.8 = 97.2 point out of a total of 120 possible points for the HESI Even though I did pretty badly on my anatomy... (should have take more time studying actual anatomy rather than physiology epsecially the heart and the ear!!!!) I made up for it with reading and math (hopefully) :)
  14. I got an 84 on the HESI... this was a combined percentage of all sections taken.... they take your Anatomy, biology, math, and reading scores into account when giving out points. So really the overall percentage doesn't seem to matter when looking at the point system. Whatever percentage you got in those 4 categories you will take each one, divide it by 4 and then multiply by 1.2 .... then add them together and those are your points for the HESI.
  15. I am planning on applying for Fall semester. I have not taken the TEAS yet. I took the HESI for FSCJ... I applied and have not recieved my response yet, but I fell in love with UNF when I went to the workshop. I have been going back and forth trying to decide between the two... It just makes more sense to come out with a bachelor's as opposed to an A.S...... Is anyone applying that does not already have a Bachelor's degree??
  16. I would really appreciate if anyone could send me a rubric for rallying points as well [email protected] good luck to everyone! Has anyone been able to verify how many seats are available for summer term ?
  17. Thank you !! i haven't looked into St. John's. Where is that ? best of luck to you as well !!
  18. Hello All! I haven't seen a forum for FSCJ Spring of 2017, so I figured I would post one... Is anyone looking to get into the program at that time? I am finished with all of my prereqs and I am taking the HESI A2 this Friday. I am most nervous about not having a CLUE what the FSCJ program is like. I have been to an information session at UNF and their program sounds absolutely wonderful. I am finishing up my AA in the fall, so perhaps if I do not make a seat at FSCJ, I can go for UNF. It seems more beneficial to come out with a bachelor's as opposed to an ADN. I would really love to work with newborns in the NICU especially. My son was born early and those nurses made such a difference, it sticks with me to this day! I want to be able to help other mommies like that... I just know you need experience and generally do not go directly into something like that! I guess I am just looking for any insight at all. Especially from anyone that has been through the FSCJ program! I feel like I am going into it pretty blindly!! Thanks!
  19. Micro take Lourdes Norman ... it is a tough class but you will learn a lot.
  20. I was looking to apply to FSCJ but just went to UNF for the so you wanna be a nurse workshop yesterday. I'm so glad I did. I had a lot of people telling me my chances of getting in were slim to none, how discouraging!! The seminar was wonderful and it was amazing to see students who seemed to really care about others as well as the faculty. I hope I can get in and be part of the family lol is the deadline to send in TEAS scores the same as the application deadline? Also does anyone know pricing for testing as well as study materials? I have the Hesi guide right now for fscj
