I heard back earlier today. I didn't get in but they accepted me as an alternate. If I don't end up starting in the Fall, I will have a seat in the January 2019 class.

Hello. I was wondering how the program was going for you and what clinical sites they have scheduled for the program? Do you have any choice in sites?

Hello! I was selected as an alternate for the Fall 2018 ATN track at Valencia College. I was wondering if anyone in the program or a graduate can tell me where they did clinicals and if their was any choice in clinical sites.

Hello! I am going to be starting a job in pediatric home health in a few weeks. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions or tips for me or what kind of items they always made sure to have with them in their car, etc.

Thank you so much! I had someone tell me that they didn't think I would be able to take the class, but couldn't find anything that said that. I just want to be as prepared as possible even if I won't be able to perform all the steps in real-life practice. :)

I was wondering if anyone knew if an LPN in Florida is eligible to get ACLS or PALS certified. I am aware that there may be drugs that we are not allowed to push in practice, but would that bar us from being eligible to take the class?

Orange Technical College formerly Orlando Tech has an LPN program that starts in Fall and Spring. It is a public school through Orange County. I graduate in February from the program.

I called and asked and couldn't really get a straight answer. They said they have a culture of promoting within, but I wanted to know if anyone here has seen it or experienced it.

I am a nursing student and I got hired to work at Nemours in the lab. I was wondering if anyone knows if they would hire a new graduate nurse internally? People have told me that the only hire experienced nurses.
