  5. I called and talked to Joanne. She never received my application I guess it got lost in the mail. I'm disappointed because she said I would've been a good candidate too :/ Guess we will see next time around
  6. I still haven't gotten an email or anything i'm concerned...
  7. That's so exciting! I haven't gotten an email yet so hopefully I will tomorrow. I'm getting very nervous I might just be an alternate! @lgoagain what were your scores like? Hopefully we will all be together!
  8. I'm getting so anxious! I hope we find out by next week. I'm not quite sure what my plan B is yet.
  9. That's so confusing I didn't know that!
  10. Hi Teacher 17! So for the gpa I take each prerequisite and the possible points are 4xhow many credits the class is. So like a four credit class is 16 possible. So your score is 4xgrade you recieved number so 4 is a 3 is b etc. So if you got a B you would have 12 out of 16 possible points for your class. You do that with each class then youadd up total points possible and then add up total recieved points. You divide the totalpossible/totalrecieved and multiply that number by 4. That's your gpa! Last time my scores were 84 overall and 3.48 gpa. I hope we both get in this time! :) @samanthalynn that's awesome! I'm sad because I feel like I could've done a lot better for my gpa lol. I'm applying to Tucson! I applied here last time with 3.48 gpa and 85 in science and I was offered a spot at Yuma so you should be fine :)
  11. How did you end up doing? I'm also turning in my app today! I ended up scoring an 87 overall on the Kaplan with an 85 in science. Unfortunately I rushed through the writing portion and got a low grade there. I have a 3.66 gpa too. I am so nervous about this because Ive already applied once and I have only taken a few classes since then to up my gpa. I was an alternate last time and ended up not getting in, unless I wanted to live in yuma. Hopefully this time it's enough!
  12. I got accepted today at the Tucson campus for fall! I just received a phone call, it was very unexpected because I was an alternate, I was starting to think i'd have to wait! I don't know any information on start dates or orientations yet so if anyone does please let me know!
  13. How many alternates are there?
  14. Sooo I just got my email that I'm an alternate for the Tucson program!! I'm excited of the possibility that I might get in :)
  15. Reading everyone's posts was really helpful, thank you all!
  16. I haven't gotten an email yet either! I had to find this thread to soothe my mind lol. I am applying to the Tucson campus with flagstaff as my second choice! My gpa is 3.5 because I have 2 classes in progress and one in retaking to change a B to an A. /: I got an 86 overall on my Kaplan. I got As in each part but a 70 in science. I'm not expecting to get in since I can reapply next semester with better scores.. But it would be awesome to know what they decided! 🙄
  17. Hi Cocobean15 I had a few questions I was wondering if you could answer. First, how did you end up at Tucsob campus when you applied to Yuma and flagstaff? I really want to stay here in Tucson and I'm thinking of only applying to Tucson campus..would that be a good choice? Secondly, how did you study for the Kaplan exam? So far I have a 3.7 gpa but I am terrified my Kaplan score won't be enough. If you could help answer any questions please let me know! My email is [email protected]
