  1. Can we add members? I know 2 girls who got in but aren't active on here so I was going to try and add them ☺
  2. I just sent a request :)
  3. If one is started I want to be added :)
  4. First semester you will have lecture M/ TH from 8 am to 10 something... (10:30 I think?) Then you will pick Tue OR Wed for Lab/Clinicals. Labs are all day I believe.. like 8 to 5? (Dont quote me on that exact time but it does take up a whole day) and then Clinicals are AM or PM. It changes every semester
  5. Im sure they got your email...BUT, I like to play it safe so thats why I personally went in. If I were you, yes I would go in and ask in person... It will put your mind at ease and one less thing to worry/think about :)
  6. I did not get a confirmation letter, but I went into the their office and they verified it was received. My friend did the same thing a few days later and got a verbal OK as well. From what I was told Gaytra has been out of the office.
  7. It's happened. I would have her go talk to her in person. Points were probably just added up wrong on your sisters end, or their end. Definitely go in person to talk to her asap.
  8. Congrats!! I'll see you in the fall!
  9. Good luck! Keep us updated! í ½í¸Š
  10. sorry guys I didn't realize someone mentioned the points already.... didn't mean to repeat it í ½í¸Š Congrats guys! I'll see y'all in the fall...im so pumped lol
  11. I got in! cut off was 87!
  12. I checked ... I'll of course be checking this week as well, but I'm still not holding my breath
  13. Good luck to all of you!! I wish they would say what the cutoff is..I wonder why they wont, if letters were sent out? So, my understanding from reading the previous threats is that only some letters were sent? Do they normally send denials and approvals separately?
  14. Great! Thank you so much for the update 😊
  15. It feels like such a loooong time... I feel the nervousness ! Hopefully the time will pass quickly though.
  16. and I'm glad you got it squared away with the correct points... thanks for the heads up!
  17. She added mine up with me when I applied. I went and talked to her yesterday...she didn't give me the cut off points but when I asked about my 88 points she smiled and said she thinks I'll be fine... She kinda got my hopes up and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. She said they had a higher number of applicants too... 215 and they accept 70. (lasy application period she said there was 170) She said they have to wait to see which students in the program need to repeat before they can send out letters with the remaining spots.
  18. I would recommend letting them know you're change of address ASAP and notify them in person.
  19. 2nd week of May...that feels so far!
  20. I hear ya... I applied with 88 and although I feel pretty good about it I would feel MUCH better if it was in the 90s. Worst case I'll have reapply next time and add my points for Micro to it (currently taking) Anyhow...hope to see you in the program this fall tho 😊
  21. Go cheap for a while. I know it's easy to get into the " I wants " , especially when you're making pretty good money. But I promise you, the newness of it will get old and you will be stretching yourself thin and will regret it. Find a cheaper place and try to start saving. You will be happy to have some extra money to treat yourself when you feel like you need it, go on a vacation, save to buy a house of your own etc., You do not want to be house poor. I think it was very wise of you to reach out and ask for advice from others before just jumping on the apartment in question. Keep looking and stay smart about it :)
  22. When I turned in my application I was kinda nervous about the cut off pounts and was thinking I might have to wait until I complete micro for more points (I applied with 88) and Gaytra told me the highest cut off she ever remembers seeing was 85 or 86, and it's been a long time since that. I bet anyone with at least 85 is good to go... but ya never know. Knowing my luck the cut off will be 90 this time. Acceptance letters take 6 weeks after deadline, I believe.
  23. The last cut off was 82, and the time before that was 78. I applied. I don't know why, but Im already getting really anxious and nervous about what to expect in the nursing program.
