Congrats!! I was thinking you'd be the next one to get it, you got your alternate email earlier than the rest of us. Glad you made it in!

Every time I tell people that I'm on the alternate list, they ask what #......and I have to say I don't know, they just said we are in a "pool of alternates", to which I get a "that sucks/that's messed up". I do think we should at least know where we rank so that we can see if we're really close to be being selected or if we're the last person on the list. I'm sure they have a ranking, I don't think it's going to be lottery situation where they really draw out of a pool.

Nope! I just realized this is going to be the last of this thread...no CSUN ABSN 2017.

I'm going to be accepting a spot at an adn program just in case, I was hoping we'd hear sooner since it seemed like several people gave up their spots but I guess the wait continues

Also got the alternate email....guess it's better than being denied but the waiting will continue:/

I also hope that they're not done sending out acceptances but I find it weird that they would send out alternate emails before sending out all acceptances...which is what makes me think that they're done sending out acceptances and for the ones that they're sending out Friday and next week will be the ones after spots opened up. But still I feel like those would go to the alternates first and not to the people who haven't received anything....but i sure hope I'm wrong and that they're just going down in alphabetical order or something. Crossing my fingers

Wow so if fall emails were sent out then that means the summer emails are done

Yea in the same boat here, I'm hoping they still send some out on Friday, I'm already giving up but there may be a slim chance for Friday

Can someone else call and see if they're done with the summer admissions or if they're still sending some out Friday? I tried calling but I can't get through:notworthy:

I was just saying March 30th because last time I called, the lady said that if I didn't hear anything by March 30th then I should be worried....but I know people got later acceptances last year so I don't know. Looks like the wait continues on

If no one gets an email today I wonder if they would send them out during spring break? Because if they're going to wait till after spring break, they're cutting it pretty close to the March 30th deadline....and that's just torturous.

Wow, I really hope not. They should make it a guarantee for the 2016 cohort at least. I kind of wish I had other options to go to now. I wouldn't want to go through all this and have it cancelled or not qualify to take the nclex.
