  1. I am so thankful for this as well. I just landed a job at one of the hospitals here in Spokane. I'll be on the med/surg floor and wanted a little insight of what is to be expected. I'll be working nights from 6:30pm to 7am. I really appreciate this so much :) I am also wanting to work as a RN (when i finish school) for a year on the floor then transfer to ICU for another year.
  2. I'm my hospitals they do that often. Just in case something happens and always need it for a fill in.
  3. I agree with you. Upper titles that do things like that, make me wonderful if they started at the bottom. It ticks me off when my LPN does that. It also bothers me when she treats me like dirt and doesn't respect me. I go the extra mile for her in the mornings so she doesn't do everything. Not only do I do reg CNA work, I do all of her blood draws, her EKGs and her skin treatments with IV care. So I get where you are coming from, not all nurses are like that. You just have to find them and don't let go! Good luck!
