  1. I am a 25 year old single mother. I also had to move back in with my parents after my first year of nursing school. I felt like a failure, like I couldn't provide for me and my child on my own. I graduated in August 2015, and looking back, it was the best thing I could've done. It was MUCH less stressful than trying to pay bills/rent. It's not ideal in the moment, but in the long run it will do you such a favor. Stay patient. Good luck :)
  2. Thank you all very much for your kind words! I just wanted to let you all know I tried the "PearsonVue trick" that did NOT work. I went to try to re-register on Saturday and I did NOT get the good pop up. I was really nervous. I checked results on Sunday on the BON website to see if my name was on there, which it wasn't. I got my quick results on Monday morning right away.. I paid the $8 to receive them... and I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a relief and so exciting!! So to anyone trying all the tips and tricks, just be confident and what happens, happens. Good luck to anyone else testing :)
  3. I took my NCLEX for the second time yesterday morning, Saturday. I have been anxious and sick to my stomach ever since. I got 120-124 questions, which kept getting more difficult as test went on. I've been checking my state's BON website but nothing has been posted (I am hoping it's because it's a Sunday). The first time I took it, I got 265 and walked out a hot mess. This time around, I felt more confident, but the last 20 questions or so were extremely difficult for me. I should get my quick results tomorrow morning but am looking for any words of encouragement or advice or experiences related to this. Praying I passed. I really am not looking forward to taking this a third time.
