  1. Interesting, thank you for sharing the email with me. hmm i guess I should hear something like that soon. You received this email after the "Thank you your packet has been received" email?
  2. Thanks kymedic25 Which email though? I haven't heard anything since I submitted the packet? Except the one from Ms Fargo saying the packet has been received :/
  3. Anyone have any idea when they would be calling for the interviews?
  4. Hey Everyone, I have also applied for the Paediatrics Acute Care track. I graduated last year June 2015 and missed the winter deadline by a week. Do you think this gap would be considered unfavourable? The only info I could find online was that you should have less than 6 months of RN experience at the time of application (which sadly I don't ).
  5. Hi Everyone, I have recently submitted my application for the Aug 2016 cohort and was wondering if anyone knew the deadline for knowing if you are selected for the interview?
  6. Hi Everyone, This is my first post here on Allnurses. I'm a recent graduate, been looking for work since April this year I'm in Toronto and the job market here sucks. I have been offered a full-time Public Health Nurse job in Fort St. John (FSJ), BC and at a physician's clinic in Toronto. Now, I'm having such a difficult time deciding what do I pursue. Being a public health nurse is my long term goal and hopefully settle in either greater Vancouver or Toronto area . I'm unsure if FSJ experience would help me get a job after a year maybe (as that's how long I can stay there lol ). Or if I should just stay in Toronto and take the clinic job, would it help getting a public health nurse job or anything in pads? I would appreciate any insights on how to proceed. If it helps, I did my final placement at SickKids but had no luck getting a job there Thanks
  7. Where do you find the posting? I have been checking the careers page and I can't find anything. Is it the Staff Nurse 1st year posting on the career page?
