My biggest issue was whether they would provide clinical sites because I knew that would be a problem. There were other schools that let know that I would have to look for my own clinical site. I have attended to semesters here. I like the hybrid options because I know that there is a lot of work and assignments with purely online classes but if I had to do this over again, I would choose a different school. I live in Edison and the drive is crazy.

I have been accepted to Monmouth University FNP for the fall. I haven't found a lot of info about those who have successfully completely their FNP. Did anyone here go through their program? How was it?

I am currently contemplating starting their program or walden university this year . I have been looking for any information from anyone who has completed an online NP program and I have not really found anyone. I am afraid to invest my time and money and end up frustrated. Any information would be highly appreciated as well.

When I was completing my RN to BSN. I made many sacrifices. I had basically no social life. my children couldn't enroll in sports or afternoon programs because I wouldn't be able to transport them. I had to always study, research or write papers and create projects. My children are now ages 2, 7, and 9. I gave birth to my now two year old during a one-week break in-between classes. I had her on Wednesday and resumed classes on Monday. I was always sleep deprived.The hardest part was balancing family, work and school. I needed to advance beyond the bedside and by God's grace my BSN opened a door to just that. Education is expensive, but it isn't a waste.

University of Texas at Arlington took my Excelsior credits. Like one of the other nurses said, it is an accredited college. To the extent that they might accept their credits varies. I heard that Western Governors' require that nurses re-do the anatomy because it is suppose to have a lab component in order to be accepted by them.
