Question!!!! on certified profile website, I used the green form for the physical exam (scanned front and back) but it was rejected because I didn't use the 2013 form from the certified profile website. Is this what Noonan was talking about in orientation? .... will she "bypass" the rejection or do I have to go back to my doctor and fill out the 2013 form from the website? :| p.s. My flu shot documentation was denied too bc it didn't show it was from "2015-2016" batch.... even though its dated December 16, 2015!!

Futurenurse, surely by now you've figured out the CPR class. The BLS class you were talking about was correct. It's the only one for "healthcare professionals"... If you ask they'll know what you need. -do not!!! go to American Red Cross!!!- shoes: I had a terrible time finding shoes. Looks like sketchers has an all white athletic shoe and yesterday I saw a pedestrian with k Swiss leather white shoes. I took advantage of visiting TX and went to a reebok store (no footlockers here carry reebok shoes anymore!!) and got a reebok woman's classic leather white shoe. They're not ugly! Yay! --------------- For anyone: i was wondering if anyone wanted to meet at a coffeeshop and test each other on medical terminology and abbreviations with flash cards (and conversions!) just to solidify confidence and randomization.. anywhere by a BART station.... would be fun. PS any good LED pen lights? My $5 off amazon is already malfunctioning!

Omg what certified profile checklist?!!!??? Tell me more!!! O_O ... I'm waiting for a credit card in the mail to begin all my school purchases LOL (uniform, certified background.com, CPR class on dec 16... etc)... I hope I'm not running behind?! I think clinicals start 5th week(??) and we are in two separate groups- one goes to Laguna hospital, the other SF general and we switch mid semester. It's 18 hrs (2 days a week) every two weeks w one week off. This was info I dug up from previous semesters... Btw, I've lived in SF the past 11 yrs and been following the accreditation fiasco -- don't worry, they won't be losing it. The accreditation organization that put ccsf at this level is being investigated. CCSF is a great school and there's no way in hell the doors will close. I promise you this. SEE YOU ALL DEC 9 :D

i was THIS close to scheduling an American Red Cross CPR class.... Then realized (I'm pretty sure?) we must go through the American Heart Association! dont almost make the mistake I did!

Futurenurse324, wow! I must have got in by the hairs on my chin! I tried registering for classes too but the CRNs said "need department approval" --- aww man! and they didn't save either.. I still can't decide if I want that 7:10 am Monday lab or Friday 10:40 :/ .... I'm thinking Friday (darn!!) In case BART has AM delays I'll have some buffer time... (I live by 16 mission BART) wish they could just fit us all in the Monday lab!

I got the call today and secured my spot! I was standby #18. Reality is starting to hit! :) figuring out my finances as I can no longer get student loans!! I don't think I can get a good grade and work much either...... oh boy. Lots of beans and oatmeal for me in the near future :$

She wrote my score down too. Then said to shut down the computer and was free to go. I'm sure if we would have had to do something else she would have said so! That submission time and date was probably for those who took the teas years/semesters ago... I wonder if we're waiting for a phone call or email or actual mail.... I don't want to bother them by calling myself; I'm sure there are 30 of us internally dying to hear back....

Omg congrats m0nobear!!!!! You definitely are in!!! I would have cried too!!!! I feel like I'm soooooo close but probably 1-3 slots (knock on wood) too far away... I hope not!! This 4 day weekend is killing me. The sweet nursing director DID say, "all of you will be hearing from me within the next couple of days." Next week... Cannot.... Arrive.... Sooner....

I'm so nervous! This is my 2nd time applying at CCSF and I finished my TEAS on Monday 23rd. There were 15 students taking the exam. Anyone know how many students were taking TEAS exam on Tuesday 24th? I am #18 on standby... Did pretty good on the exam, while the gal next to me (who was accepted on condition) was crying after she got her score I felt devastated for her.. when do we hear from them again? My home mailbox is broken so I'm worried I'll miss any info.... Been glued to my phone and check email like crazy!
