  1. Finding a class isn't too difficult don't worry too much. It says it on the website where it lists all of the prerequisites but I wasn't aware you had to get it before classes start. If worse comes to worst, I'm actually receiving my BLS instructor certification so I could teach people before classes start hopefully
  2. Log into Facebook | Facebook I posted the the link again
  3. Were you able to join the group?
  4. Log into Facebook | Facebook I started a facebook group for class of 2018 BBP if anyone would like to join. Idk if the link works or not
  5. I heard back and got in!!!!
  6. I doubt they'll send anything on weekends but I sent an email 2 weeks ago and was told we'd hear back this week! They'll probably send acceptance, waitlist, and rejection emails all at the same time.
  7. I hope this wait isn't for nothing! I had to enroll in my next semesters classes as a backup. I would rather not take some of the classes that I signed up for
  8. I sent an email out asking when we'd hear back and was told within the next 2 weeks. Hopefully we'll hear back next week!!!
  9. You scared me! I thought you were going to say you received an acceptance from stony brook. Check the hospitals that each one is associated with? I'm not too sure on what to do exactly but that may help.
  10. It's been almost 7 weeks for me. I'm so nervous! I really don't want to make my next semesters schedule with the assumption that I don't get in
  11. the interviewers told me they use a points system for the math and writing as well as the rest of the application process. I agree on the rest of the things you brought up though
  12. I'm just thinking about what the first sentence will say. Will it say "congratulations" or "we are pleased to inform you" or "this year of applicants were very competetive" or something along those lines. just thinking of it raises my heart rate
  13. Mine will be this Wednesday. I'm so nervous everytime I get an email my heart skips a beat
  14. Today marks the 5th week since I've had my interview. The anticipation has built up a lot!
  15. In the email I received upon receiving an interview, I was told the interview is necessary
  16. Check the forum I linked. We are expecting to hear back in a few weeks
  17. https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/stony-brook-basic-1023661-page11.html#post8939757
  18. I think they finished sending out acceptances already
  19. Nothing yet but I think we'll hear back the week after spring break (2 weeks from now)
  20. It's been almost three weeks for some of us. Three more to go probably!
  21. I started a Bing application but never got around to completing it. I can't really go too far and I don't have the money or credits to go to many other schools. I put all of my eggs in one basket.
  22. Last year they had interviews in march and people received the email about interviews around this time. That's a month later than what we received which is why I'm guessing we'll hear back early to mid march
  23. Looking at last years thread, I've come to a prediction that some of us will hear back early to mid March.
  24. I was going to apply to Binghamton but I never got around to finishing the application. Fingers-crossed I won't regret that decision because Stony Brook is by far my number 1 choice!
  25. I've lost my sanity the day I started this thread. I constantly check my emails hoping for a reply even though we won't get one for a while.
