  1. Fingers crossed for you! 92.8% on the HESI science GPA - 3.8 last 60 GPA - 3.6 700+ hours as a residents assistant in a skilled nursing facility 230+ hours of volunteer work at a local food bank And 3 years of restaurant experience as a server. To those that didn’t make it this cycle— don’t lose hope. This is my second time applying as I got denied from the masters entry program last year. Continue strengthening your apps and reapply! All the best! And congrats to those that made it!
  2. I made sure to check the checklist and there was an update. I never got congratulations on the first page before
  3. As soon as I opened up the portal, I saw congratulations on the page!
  4. Mine updated, I got in! Feels so unreal. I wish you all the best and can't wait to meet my San Mateo cohort!
  5. Just checked the portal this morning and still no update : (
  6. Did you have to start over completely or were you able to transfer all the content over to the new app? I’m worried I might not get my transcripts/LoR submitted in time.
  7. Way to go— I’m super stoked to for you! I had A’s in all my sciences but had to retake them recently bc they expired, got the same grade second time around. Hoping that makes an impact on my app!
  8. YAY! Congrats everyone! @trustthestruggle, could you please share your stats with us? Also, which campus did you apply to?
  9. OMG that’s great news @Denise32! Which campus did you apply to? Mind sharing your stats please?
  10. "Hi everyone, I just checked my portal and it says I got in to the Sacramento campus. I'm kind of in shock, I don't know if I'll believe it until I get an email. I'm so sorry to those who have been waiting so long, I know the wait is excruciating. I really hope you reapply. Good luck to everyone!!" IDK why I can't reply directly to your post but Congratulations @ag1043! Would you mind sharing your stats with us please? Also, I wonder if they're sending out decisions based on last names or through the order they received apps
  11. I applied to the San Mateo campus and the portal says my application is still being reviewed. Anyone else that chose San Mateo as their primary campus get any updates on their app status? The wait has been EXCRUCIATING!!!
  12. Hello All! I've been sporadically checking the thread and thought I'd post today. Based on the posts so far, it seems like we'll be hearing back within the next week or two. It doesn't feel real yet! I still have one non-science course in-progress, which will be completed mid July. Ahh, all the best everyone.
  13. Hi there! I took the HESI A2 exam for the first time on September 24th, 2019 and scored a composite score of 92.8% The order I took the exam along with the score for each section is as follows: Grammar - 92% A&P - 92% Vocabulary - 94% Math - 96% Reading Comprehension - 90% My exam timer didn’t pause during breaks , which caused a bit of anxiety because I hadn’t calculated that into my preparation. So I sat it out and towards the end, during reading comprehension, I was eager to finish and rushed that section. I studied for a month and half in advance. Math was my most challenging subject so I spent the majority of my time brushing up on fundamentals and what not. It was very easy, I definitely over prepared. Lots of ratio and proportions and conversions like everyone else said. I practiced every other day and printed out worksheets online. A&P section surprised me the most. Felt confident I’d get the highest score in that section but there were a few questions that totally blew me away for the worse. Can’t remember exa Definitely ask your test site in advance whether or not the exam is paused during breaks. I was really worried I wouldn’t have enough time but ended up finishing the exam in two hours and 17 minutes. I zoomed through the English sections. Didn’t study as much on those sections! All in all, so relieved to score a 92.8% composite score! Wish you all the best of luck!
