  1. Hey guys, i was wondering if a weekend/evening student can send me the fall schedule the prof wrote on the board on friday? Thank u!
  2. Congrats guys! I also got in but will be declining my spot.
  3. I was wondering the same thing..... I did mine on the 6. Hopefully we hear back soon.
  4. Thank you for the info!:) How long are the summer classes?
  5. They just called me as well:) ill be declining since i already decided on gcc. Congrats to all who got in and to the alternates that will get in as well :)
  6. I got in :) planning on bringingthe intent form on friday.
  7. It says: Dear RN Program Applicant: You have been selected as an alternate for the College of the Canyons RN Program beginning Fall 2016.
  8. Yay! Congrats to those accepted :) i got an alternate seat as well. Will be there for the orientation :)
  9. Hahaha so true!!!
  10. Allright, thank you!! :)
  11. Hi guys!!! good job on your teas. Those are pretty good scores :) Are we supposed to hear from them this week?
  12. I also re applied to lavc. Applied for the first time to lapc, coc and lacc. What about you?
  13. I applied last semester and sent my teas. Didnt get in the lottery portion so I told them I was re-applying. They said since they already had the teas score I would be put into the lottery again. hoping to get in this time.
  14. Do u know when we will be hearing back from them?
  15. From previous posts it seems that they got he acceptance letters end of may....
  16. Also, make sure you time yourself! So you have an idea of how fast you need to answer.
  17. I think the Teas is not as hard as it seems :) if you prepare well you'll do fine. I used the ATI study guide and online practices(TEAS Practice Test - Free TEAS V Practice Questions). I think science and math are the easiest subjects(they are pretty straight forward answers ). Reading is the one I think requires more time since most of it is comprehension(two answers can make sense and since it's timed I think thats whats tricky) I went through the ati guide once then did the practice, whatever I got wrong I reviewed and did the practice all over again. I did the whole thing again 3 days before the actual test :) Hope that helps!
  18. Nice! Thank you for letting me know :)
  19. Those are nice grades you got :) I took the Teas last year. I'm applying to a couple... last year I only applied to GCC and LAVC and didn't get in for the lottery portion... so this year I am re applying to those 2 again. Also, I'm applying to Pierce, LACC and for last resource Mount Saint Marys. I hope I get in GCC program since is closest to me but any would be fine :) Have you been reviewing the Teas material? I know when you get invited you dont have that much time to prepare. I did the Teas before any school invited me and I got 72%...I wish it was higher but I'm fine with that number :) Coc is not lottery based? How do they pick the applicants? Points? Can't wait to hear from them :)
  20. Luna1994, did you do the Teas V test? What other school are you applying?
  21. Anyone re applying or applying for the first time?
