  1. Good afternoon guys I wanted to update you just in case you have not completed the steps. The finger printing process, at least the office thats in Hialeah, you can go any time. The only reason why you pick the appointment time is to be able to process the payment. The lady said it does matter if you want to walk in and just "pretend you are making an appointment" because either way she does not look at what time your appointment is, it is pretty much first come first serve (The entire process is less than 30 minutes). As far as the Health Package at Miami Dade Wellness Clinic it is pretty fast too, I was able to do everything in less than 2 hours with no appointment. The Clinic is right in front of the Advisement office. The only thing is that they see appointments first then walk ins but like I said there was no one there. I was able to get everything done, I just have to go back to have the first PPD read then have the second one. All the results are given to me once I get the results for the second PPD.
  2. Good afternoon Brittney22 I am actually using the checklist that they sent us in the acceptance email. These are the steps to follow 1.Bursar's Office (here you pay $100 towards saving your seat in the program of your choice, and this credit is then deducted from the amount you owe after picking the classes) 2.Response Form (is attached on the checklist, it is pretty much the form accepting or denying a specific program) 3.Criminal Background (it must be scheduled through the MDC vendor...link is attached on the checklist as well) It is $57.25 and there are three locations you can pick from 4.Student Health Record 5.Titers, Tests, Vaccines (4 and 5 you can have them done at the Medical Campus Wellness clinic. They do the whole process for $345) 6.CPR/BLS Card (You can can call the Medical Campus and they add this as one of your classes. I made my appointment in the 10th and they only had for the 19th at Homestead or 25th for Dade. This is $79. 7. Its for Orientation day depending on the program (Ex. Full Time is on july 12 and for Part Time is on the 28th) 8. Complio (is the data base we will use to ensure we are compliant by orientation day. If we are not compliant we wont be able to register) its $24 for one year and $45 for 2 years. Let me know if you have any questions so i can help!!!
  3. Good afternoon Phaint, I see that you are a student at MDC Medical in the part time program. I know you posted a while ago but I was wondering if you could more or less tell me how the part time schedule is. I work at mount Sinai hospital and I really would need a program where i can take classes afternoon or weekends. Thanks in advance
  4. Good afternoon!!!! its very exciting to see some many of us getting accepted. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I was also admitted to the part time and full time generic option but I am having a hard time choosing since I would need a program for the afternoon or weekends to be able to keep my job at Mount Sinai Hospital. Please let me know if you guys have heard how the programs are set up in regards to schedule. I also started the checklist and will be taking the CPR/BLS course on the 19th at the Homestead campus which is the soonest they have...and will be doing background and physicals on this coming tuesday...did anyone get started on this yet?
  5. Good afternoon future classmates..I also applied for the fall semester for both the generic and part time program and I am also waiting to hear back....I am sooooo nervousss
