You sound pretty good to go to me! I'd try to do as many Q-Bank questions in the next two days as possible though. Just the mere act of repetition, doing the same kinds of questions over and over and over... it really helped me on the exam! I took the NCLEX on the 18th and found out I passed today :) Here are my scores! There are a few people in this post who got the good PVT and failed, but most of them don't mention how many questions they did. Regardless, I'm pretty sure you passed!

Firstly, new dates open up all the time! Originally I was scheduled for the 26th of June but the next day, a slot opened up on the 18th :) Secondly, that's just one test! You still have about 3 weeks to prepare. I'd put together a study plan, if I were you; figure out what areas you're weakest in and focus on those. For example, you could study cardiovascular on Monday, respiratory on Tuesday, maternal-infant on Wednesday... Do at least 100 questions a day, of course, and read the rational. I personally made a word document for each content area and every time I missed a question in that area, I'd put the rationale in the word document to study later. I didn't use UWorld (I used Kaplan) so I don't know if there are any more self-assessments, but if there are, do one a week up until the test to see if you're improving! When I did Kaplan, I did terrible on my first CAT exam that I took about a month before the exam. I received a big red dot telling me I was poorly prepared. I was not doing well on the question trainers. I took the NCLEX today in 75 questions and got the "good" PVT, so hopefully I passed! I'm sure you will too! You have plenty of time to prepare :)

I don't remember reading about anyone who has gotten 75 questions, a good PVT, and failed. I certainly hope it hasn't happened, because I too finished the exam today in 75 questions and got the good PVT message, haha. I do know there are plenty of people though who have gotten the good PVT and then later found out that they failed, so it's definitely not 100%. Don't let that freak you out though! 18 SATA sounds really good and honestly, I don't know why dosage calculation questions are indicative of doing well; those are the easiest questions, no critical thinking necessary, just pure math skills.

I took the NCLEX this afternoon! I finished in 75 questions; around 15 select-all-that-apply and 2 ordered response, as far as I can remember. I used Kaplan to study. I had the good pop-up earlier today, so fingers crossed!

I graduated nursing school this past May! It was my second degree too :) Federal loans are a tricky subject. I was able to take out loans that I hadn't reached the maximum amount in yet (e.g. the unsubsidized Stafford loans, Perkins loans, etc.). However, I barely had any money left after my first degree, haha, so I ended up taking out a few Sallie Mae private loans. They're not the greatest in terms of interest, but they were relatively easy to sign up for and they had a variety of payment options, including a grace period after I graduated.

Just scheduled my exam for the end-ish of June! Congrats to all who have passed so far! Not sure if I'm grateful for the extra studying time or nervous that I have to wait even longer to take the exam!

Anyone else see on their MoA that they haven't completed the Gen. Ed. requirements for UCF? Do you know if we have to do this? The Gen. Ed. requirements at UF were different than those at UCF so I haven't completed UCF's...

Congratulations on your provisional acceptance to the UCF Second Degree BSN program! You will need to attend two separate mandatory orientations: Transfer Orientation for UCF and Nursing Orientation for the Accelerated BSN program. One of the requirements for incoming undergraduate students to UCF is to attend a Transfer Orientation. Transfer Orientation for Summer admission will be on Friday, May 13th at UCF-Orlando (main campus). To register for Transfer Orientation, please sign up online as soon as possible: Orlando Campus Registration >> Orientation >> UCF Nursing Orientation will be on Thursday, May 12th at the College of Nursing located in University Tower on Research Parkway. Omg I was scared about that too, but my mom brought up the fact that most people who are rejected aren't gonna want to go and tell the world about it, not the same day at least. Plus Mr. Wynn did say that it was the emails that was the problem, and so far it seems to be a UF email problem, so my fingers are crossed that that was the case and not that I was rejected

Presumably you were accepted to the campus you applied to. I don't think they'd accept you for Gainesville if you applied for Jacksonville. They're two separate schools, in a way. Just a guess.
