I don't know my exact number on the waitlist except that I was in the top ten. I was going to ask my ranking if they called me but since they just sent an email I still don't know! Sorry :/ I know that's not a good answer right now !

J-Shut- Forgot to reply about the rolling waitlist question. From what I've read they restart the waitlist with each new application cycle. I'm crossing my fingers for you! Hope you got that email tonight too!

Well....I got in! I got an email earlier this evening from the school. I think I'm still in shock... wow! Anyone else hear any good news???

Still eagerly waiting on this end! I did get an email from Linfield this week saying "We will begin working from the waitlist on Nov. 2nd and continue to work until Feb. 8th". I guess the email was sent to anyone in the top 10 spots on the waitlist. But it was nice to hear something finally! I really hope we hear sooner than later :-) I will post right away if I get "the call". Fingers are crossed and waiting for Monday! PS glad you are making the move to Portland! You're right- mind as well get a jump on it!

I feel the same way! I've literally scoured the internet in search what my chances of getting in are... which is so pointless and I'm stressing myself out too! Wow you have a big decision to make in terms of moving to Portland with the unknown. Surely there has to be someone who has turned down their spot?! If so, please let us know :) I thought of emailing the admissions person to ask if there has been any movement on the waitlist but I don't want to bother her.. Maybe I'll wait to email until Nov. 1st deadline. Ahhh! This is driving me crazy!

No updates here... thought maybe someone would have heard something by now.. Nov. 1st is the deadline to accept so hopefully some spots open up? This is so nerve wracking not knowing! :/

Hello! J Shut- Sounds like we have pretty similar "stats". I have a 3.7 pre req GPA, a prior bachelors degree, CNA , and some current medical experience. When I was on the waitlist before I wasn't told the number but I think "pretty far down" was their way of saying I had a slim chance ! But I think the fact that you are #12 is a good place to be. I've heard rumors of a long waitlist line so I think there is hope! I just wish we knew if anyone was declining their spot... Lb1130- I haven't heard of any acceptances. Maybe search other threads on here??

Student- I liked hearing that multiple programs have a spring start! It's nice to know that some years they take the whole waitlist ! (Fingers crossed!) J-Shut- My first time applying to Linfield it was a big fat no, second time I was deep on the waitlist. I'm curious why they told you guys your exact number and not me ... Hey- I was wait listed too! Contacted --------------- and said I was top ten.... I'm feeling hopeful but also so nervous because I was wait listed for Fall entry too and never heard a peep. So hard to be this close to getting in! This is my 3rd time applying. ------------- said we should know more after the Nov. 1st deadline. Any other waitlisters out there?? Or people declining their spots to offer us hope?!
