Hi, Thanks for replying. I was very concerned about going into a more acute setting as I had limited myself to urology only. Sinse my post I ran into an old friend that I once worked with (she now works at this facility I will be going to) I was able to ask her more about the facililty. (things I should have asked during my interview) What I found out. (you should also know that I did 2 rotations at this facility when in school for my lpn) Anyway. No care plans...there is a dept for that. I was worried about my math skills, she says she hasnt had to do any math there. That they have everything printed out there and have a direct line to the pharmacy. ( I am still reviewing my math though) I was also worried about pt/nurse ratio. Get this, she only has 12 pts. There were other worries but she put them all to rest. I have ordered a few books to review things with and everything is coming right back so I was worried for nothing evidently. I am really looking forward to this new job. It sounds like they all work great as a team. I was told it is stressful but a good stress and that everyone works together and laughs alot. That was all I needed to know. I have also been reading many threads on this site and have been able to review so much. This is the greatest site and am glad I stumbled upon it. Thank you so much for responding. Have a glorious day. :)
