  1. I got my waitlist update email earlier this evening. Sadly, the waitlist hasn't moved - still #12. Looks like I'll need to apply again for Fall.
  2. i received my email at 4pm PST. i'm #12 on the waitlist anyone have any idea about their waitlist placements? do i even stand a chance or should i cry myself into a deep depression? lol good luck to all still waiting for their email and congrats to all those who've already been accepted!
  3. SopranoKris, RN thank you so much for sharing! i just downloaded the app and i'm impressed with how clear the explanations are! thank you thank you thank you!
  4. and sadly, this is just a pre-req class to get into anatomy, physiology and microbio! I'm seriously struggling to comprehend and keep up with the class. I'm confusing myself with all the terms and different mathematical formulas, equations, etc. unfortunately, I can't do tutoring since I work full time during the day. can anyone please share any helpful studying tips?
  5. hello nurses! I'm new to this forum so please forgive me if this question has been asked a million times over :) I'm in the bay area, specifically san Francisco, and I was wondering if a BSN would give me an advantage over those who only have an ASN? Is there a pay difference? do hospitals prefer new grads to have the higher degree? Most nursing schools/programs in the bay area are incredibly impacted (even super expensive private schools!) making it very difficult to get in. would I be at a disadvantage to apply for a nursing job with just an ASN? Thanks in advance for any insight!!
