  1. That's kind of what I was thinking. Just wondering if the competency based WGU (3.0) grading system will affect my chances at certain schools. If so I'd like to avoid applying to those schools.
  2. Does anyone have any recent news on this program? I've heard it's excessively and unnessarily difficult. And does it actually look any better than any other online program (i.e. Chamberlain and Frontier)? Thank you for any responses!
  3. Hi, so I've been looking around this website for specific answers to my questions and cannot seem to find a thread that answers any of them directly. I would like to enter into a MSN-FNP program (online preferably) as I have just completed my RN-BSN through WGU. I have looked into schools like Chamberlain and Frontier which seem to be very flexible as far as start dates. While some people speak highly of them, most of the people on here just bash them and call them diploma-mills, which they may be. Will they get me a job though? Because that's the bottom line. Everyone whose ever actually done any real nursing knows that you learn on the floor once you've graduated. The other option is Brick and Mortar but the next start date is the Fall of 2016 and that seems like such a long time to wait! If anyone has any advice for me then I would be very thankful but if you're just looking to bash specific programs then I'd rather not hear it.
