Hi all! I applied to UTA FNP online program for the November 2014 start date. Anyone else out there applied or going through the program now? Looking to get some reviews on the program and admissions process. and just talk to those who are waiting on an admissions decision like myself! THANKS

Thank you so much lorbear1! I will be sending out some emails tonight to the school I attended for BSN... I did my BSN online so hopefully they will have some type of standard letter of recommendation letter that someone can send for me. Thank you! Is Simmons really hard to get into? I have a 3.3 GPA, 1.5 years of experience as RN on med/surg unit, and I think my essay is turning out pretty good. I would like to start the September or November cohort.

HI everyone! Im glad I found this thread! I spoke with Simmons today and really interested in getting the ball rolling and getting application material submitted ASAP! My major road block is letters of recommendation! Who did you all get your letters of recommendation from. I do not know any FNPs! Not sure if I followed an FNP for a few days if they would be willing to write one as others have recommended on other threads...any one have any experience with this? Any tips on the application process will be greatly appreciated. btw CONGRATS to all that have been accepted thus far
