  1. How did you become a CDE?

    Hello! I have come to a block in the road. I am very interested in becoming a CDE and I am having the hardest time achieving that goal. Can anyone please explain to me how they were able to become a CDE? I have been a RN on a med/surg floor for the past 2 years. I have been looking all over for jobs in diabetes clinics or anything endocrinology/CDE related. Everything I have found either wants a dietician, someone who already has their CDE or they are not hiring. Thank you in advance for any and all advice!
