Human Growth and Development CLEP
Hi there ...I am currently enrolled at WGU and must take Human and Growth Development Across the life Span but would prefer to CLEP out. The material albeit interesting is very cumbersome. I have no idea where to start. I have taken the initiative to purchase the study flash cards on instacert but it's overwhelming. Can anyone suggest material to help and/or am I on the right track with what I am doing so far? Thank you

New to Dialysis-Please enlighten me
Hello , I have been in Nephrology for over 15 years in various roles(tech, LPN, Charge as an LPN and now an educator). My advice to you is move on...your license is only valued by the company as long as you can work . This is your career. It's not worth the headache, risk or stress. Techs are the hub of that facility but the nurse is the authority. Any thing that transpire is on you. I have had my share of experiences and while I appreciate them , I do not miss the floor at all....You can copy the chain of commands only to find out patient care is not really the focus, unless you make a fatal error. I am sorry to be the truth serum about this specialty.

LPN's in business for themselves!!
Hello to my fellow nurses with all credentials. I am a nurse who has been in Nephrology for over 10 years. I have worked the clinical floor for greater than 8 years and now am in the role of education for my patients. I desire to go into business for myself doing this very same thing. I am not looking to obtain my RN immediately as life does not allocate for that commitment. However, working for myself, doing what I love , will I'm sure, open up doors for me in this arena. Please help with what is the protocol for such an endeavor and more specific to the guidelines for each state. All info is welcomed and appreciated. I am an LPN and would like encouraging information , not the " You're not an RN type response." I am a compassionate , committed nurse who absolutely love what I do. My credentials are never questioned. My experience, knowledge and License as an LPN are my credentials. Thank you all so much!
