Does anyone have any travel experience in Houston. I am a first time traveler and plan to find my own housing with a fellow travel RN. Any suggestions on companies with opportunities in Houston is also appreciated.

I rent a townhome so I am just moving , thanks for the advice. Laura
  5. I read your post re St Lukes. I am a nurse in Maryland and I am looking to move to Houston in a year and work specifically for St Lukes Texas Heart. I was just wondering if you are still there and how things are going. Any advice for new comers. I will have 2 years open heart nursing experience and 5 years overall nursing. Lollie

I am going to be traveling in a few months and I just wanted to know if fully furnished apartments are available. What does everyone do with there belongings. I have a fully furnished townhome in Maryland and I am wondering what to do. I guess the option is either storage, yard sale, or opting to look for my own private housing in which I could drag my belongings accross the country. What do most nurses do.! Lollie

Thanks for your reply. I have heard nothing but good things so far about RN Network. The opinion seems to be consistent regarding the lower hourly rates. I guess the bigger the agency the more nurses they have to pay. But you are absolutley right. I am also willing to accept less money if it means better quality. YOu can go independently to an outside local agency and clean up with overtime. Im excited about posibly choosing RN Network. Lollie

Does anyone have any general opinions re RN Network or traveling in Texas. Are the rates and the benefits competitive?
