  1. Make sure to check your other documents , so that you can include everything that needs revision or re-sending since it's quite expensive. One more thing, I also sent this letter from the institution where I was working during that time which states that I am still currently employed. This proof is signed by the HRD head with an official dry seal, and placed in a business envelope which they provided. This may also help with your situtation. :) I'm sure you will receive your DL once you accomplish everything :)
  2. Yes, that's what I did for both my referees since I was still working during that time. It went through, and I received my DL. Hope you receive your DL soon :)
  3. What I did was I asked my referee to write the date when she accomplished the form inside the boxes, then I wrote the word CURRENT opposite the date, as advised by my agency. ☺
  4. Hi fellow CTNurse! Sadly, yes, there's a handful of us who are awaiting deployment. This is beyond our control. Well anyway, we have this group in FB where there are 6 members as of the moment. If you want to be part of this, come find me. If we have CTN as a common friend, you will be able to see me. I sent you a PM I hope to find others who are in the same boat as us, so that we may be able to support each other, in the best ways possible :)
  5. Since Krisjoy will be reviewing in Manila, it's a good thing Niners conduct their classes everyday there, too. Best of luck to you Krisjoy. God bless!
  6. The classes of Niners in Manila are conducted everyday. In lipa, however, we only have sessions every weekends. i think this is the same for the other provincial branches. Good luck!
  7. You should be there early, though. I think they accept nurses til noon time only. :)
  8. It will be released after 2hours or so, depending on the number of people being accommodated for that day.
  9. hey. when i tried logging in to my nmc account, the reminder isn't there anymore. :)
  10. It seems like you really need to find work, not only to be eligible for application (as required by the companies who are hiring nurses for the UK), but also to help with the finances. The costs really depends on your agency/ company. Most help with the expenses, others do not, still others shoulder everything. Here are some of the things I paid for Ielts review, ielts, cbt (all for reimbursement) Application fee, medical exams, iom tb testing, visa app, plane ticket (all shouldered by the company) Processing of the documents for the nmc (hospital, nbi, medical dr, school) Hope this helps. :)
  11. hey, i sent you a pm :)
  12. I sent you a pm. :)
  13. Hey According to IPAMS/CTN, it is now impossible for us to finish all requirements and proceed with the visa processing, even though we still have 2 weeks before November 5. The time frame is not enough. I highly advise that we take the UKVI IELTS or start preparing for it now. I have already booked mine. :)
  14. I also sent them mails to inquire about my status, and they told me that my application was placed back to the queue. I hope we will be included in the "lucky ones" who had their 70-day period waiting time shortened! Good luck to us!
  15. Prayers are all we need. I sent you a PM regarding my status. I took the IELTS ACAD last October 2014, and studied diligently for 5 months before I finally decided to take the CBT last April. Hoping that we receive our DLs real soon. :)
  16. @Dodoy @freakazoa @leyoh321 I'm tied up with CTN/IPAMS, too. Hope we all (from other companies included) receive our DLs and COS. God bless us.
  17. Hey dodoy I also received that statement back in August, but it indicated the documents that the NMC is requiring from me which I diligently sent them through electronic mail and through courier. I was then informed that my application is placed back into the queue, so much for the waiting time.
  18. I haven't heard of anyone being denied of his/her visa either. Have you asked Ms Rio or anyone who is in charge with your application from IPAMS/CTN? Good luck!! :)
  19. @KeeptheFaith30 your NBI clearance must be the one issued for travel abroad. to be sure, you better use that one than repeat the process all over again.
  20. Hey there mcqueen From what country are you? That's a good thing - your parents being supportive. Guess they want what's best for you. Good luck on your exam. God answers our prayers in His time, and I believe that time is now :)
  21. Hey mcqueen. I took the cbt last April, and I only has been a member of this thread since August. My advice is you should not let anything you've read from this frustrate you. Just like what others have said, the previous posts were already history. I believe that the NMC has already done their part in making the cbt more friendly and easier for those who are yet to take it. Any exam poses its own difficulty and flaw, but if you let all news you've heard come to you and ruin your senses, nothing will happen except leave you feeling helpless. When I was the one in your shoes, five months ago, I did everything in order to pass. I know you will be able to do that. Just relax, take deep breaths and start with reading. Don't forget to pray. :)
  22. I also believe in this. Just a thought to ponder. You should study like no prayers can save you, and pray like no studies can save you. Makes sense right? This just reminds us that we need to give our best in everything we do. If we have done that already, Let GOD do the rest. Good luck everyone.
  23. good luck rosemncube! See you all in UK. Hope everything turns out positive for all of us.
  24. @ryanksu congratz!
