After applying in the 2016 cycle and was waitlisted but to no avail, and again for the 2017 cycle I was rejected early on in the application process, I decided to apply elsewhere. Most recently, I was accepted into the Chaminade School of Nursing Program for this Fall, and am excited about my decision. Goodluck to all who got in to GEPN!

Hi everyone, I submitted my app and just waiting on one more transcript to be sent in. I have a BA in Biology and from Hawaii. Planning to go into the AGCNS route. Goodluck to everyone and hope we all get in!

I was also notified that I was placed on a list of alternatives. Goodluck to the both of us and congrats to everyone else that has been accepted so far!

Aloha people - starting a new thread for Fall 2016 applicants. Submitted my app in early October, I applied for the DNP - FNP track for Fall 2016. A few days ago I received an email from Shannon: "Your application will be forwarded to the admissions committee for review. The application review will begin starting from October 19, 2015. Please note that the evaluation of applications can take awhile. It can take several weeks. Therefore, we would like to ask for your patience in this matter." Anyone else applied for the GEPN Fall 2016 cohort (8?) at UH-Manoa?

Kathy510, there is an informational session at Webster Hall (UH-Manoa) coming up on the last Wednesday of this month, highly recommend going!

Is there any advice/recommendations you can give me in order to "boost" up my app for Fall 2016? I have a bio degree and have little prior nursing experience. Thank you!
