Barry CRNA Starting 2018
So, just when I had lost all hope they call and offer me an interview! They contacted me in late July and offered to see me on August the 25th. I'm so nervous! I just moved to Orlando, Fl from Tennessee last week. I thought it might help to get in-state tuition next year. But now I might be moving again in January if the Orlando campus is already filled. I'm also tempted to take the head-start classes now, if it's not too late to sign up!

Does anyone know when the next set of interviews is supposed to be? I've already gotten rejection letters from two of the local programs (not from FL) that I applied to. I'm beginning to feel some discouragement.

I just got the email on March 15th stating that my application is being reviewed. I really hope to get a call soon. Does anyone know if they will still invite you for an interview even if your profile is not 100% complete? I attached a letter to my application to tell them that I plan to take a chemistry course during the summer but registration doesn't open until next month. I just hope this is adequate.

I interviewed on Wednesday. From what I gathered the interview is different for each person. Mine was pretty laid back so I hope that's a good sign. Anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back from them?

LMU CRNA Program
Yeah, they called me too. I switched to Wednesday because it fit my schedule better.

I got a call today as well and plan to attend the interview on March 17th!

Hello everyone. I'm working on my application right now. I took the GRE a few days ago and plan on taking the CCRN in February. I'm BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certified with a 3.7 GPA. Nevertheless, I don't really anticipate getting accepted this year because of my 195 GRE score (I only had like 5 days to prep) and with a mere 6 months of ICU experience (+ >1yr of ER before that) I'm basically here to make everyone else feel better about themselves. : )

Considering a Move to ED or NICU
Hello, I'm a new grad that started in a small town Emergency Department about 6 months ago. I love it! I think going from Med Surg to the ER would be great. I have asked a few nurses at work who have transferred from the floor how they liked it and they have said that they feel more autonomous and enjoy it much better than their old position. I would recommend starting at a smaller hospital if you want to do ER for the first time. That way you won't get too overwhelmed while trying to learn the new flow of things. Even at the small town hospital where I'm at I still get to see plenty of "cool" stuff and sometimes we do get super busy and it can be overwhelming at times. But nothing I can't handle as a new grad. You can always transfer to a new/bigger hospital once you fell more comfortable.
