I'm applying with 168 points. I did retake my class. It's been a hard road. We got this!!!

Yes!!! This is the last time it will be worth double. I am getting so nervous. I ended up w 168 points, but I'm working 3 jobs. It seems like 160's should be enough to get us in!!! The wait is hard. Lol I am in same boat as onerichnurse. Single mom as well w a senior getting ready to graduate high school. Trying to save as much as I can. I wish all of you the Best!!!

I wish I knew that they went with whoever turned their application in first if both applicants have same points. I'm a nervous wreck waiting. Especially since most on here have 175 points plus. I turned in my application with 168 points. I worked so hard, and I'm so proud of where I am at!!!! Good luck to all of us!!!!

I just turned in my application. I was hoping I would be competitive with 172 points if I can keep my B in micro. I'm kinda nervous now.

Congrats to everyone!! I have a question. I just dropped my bio 169. I have some family issues that need to be priority. Anyway, my plan was to apply in Jan. If I can retake the teas and get 12 points I will have 152 points. Do you think it's a waste of time to apply and see what happens? Thanks for your advice

We did have a very large and competitive applicant pool for Spring 2017. We are currently accepting alternates with 154 points for Spring 2017.

Hi everyone!!! I emailed SW this morning. I had a few questions and asked about points. If you get penalized for taking longer to complete pre-reqs. She also explained to me that this application period had a huge pool and that they are currently accepting alternates with 154 points. That gave me a little hope for when I apply in January.

So I have decided to stick this class out. I just want a C. If I drop it will throw everything behind. I have worked so hard for the last theee years. I went through a nasty divorce, my daughter tried to take her life, and I still managed to get good grades. I want this more than anything. I can do this!!! Thank you everyone for all the support and encouragement. No one ever said this road would be easy, just worth ití ½í¸Ší ½í¸Ší ½í¸Š

Thank you for taking the time to help me. It's such a hard decision. If I could get a C I would be overjoyed. I got an email from Ms.Watkins and she really broke it down. If I got a C with my teas I would have 162 points for fall registration. My luck points will be even higher for fall registration than they were this go around. It's frustrating you work so hard and it's still not enough.

This is my first time taking it. Should I try and if I end up with a D, can I retake it without it hurting my points? It's a hard class, but the teachers for lecture and lab are teaching at wake tech for their first time. I really wanted to be able to apply in January. I'm so confused.

I have a question for anyone who can help me. I am taking Bio 169 and as of right now I am teetering between a d and f. Should I drop before the drop dead line. If I tried to stick it out and made a D will I lose -20 points? I am just having some personal family problems and I am having a hard time devoting myself to this class. Any suggestions? CN_2bRN919 I just started my AP2 this week. Wow!!! This class is going to be challenging. Two different instructors teaching. If I can get a C I will have 164 points for the fall 2017. Do u think that's competitive enough? I bet you are going crazy waiting for that acceptance letter. I'm so excited to finally be this close.

Jpeters247 What are the three Bio? I thought it was two psychology and micro and nutrition. What is the third one?
