  1. I know exactly what you are saying. I see it to at work. An RN once told me the best trainer she ever had was an LVN.
  2. I have been an LVN for 10 years. I started on my RN through Excelsior. Because of a divorce after 20 years of marriage I was unable to complete. I do much better in classroom setting. After the divorce in November was finalized, and my lawyer refused to get me alimony, which was allowed btw, a tornado struck my job and destroyed it. No residents or employees hurt, thank God. Suddenly I am out of a job, income cut by 75% due to divorce and barely make ends meet. Is there any way that I will be able to qualify for assistance in going back to RN school? Where and how would I find this information out? Any feedback or ideas would be great. I am in Texas if that helps any. Thanks for the help in advance. It seems LVN's are being phased out.
