George Brown just looked at my grades. The college does not have the HOAE or entrance test for students coming from highschool. The situation may be different for mature students. I'm assuming you are applying from highschool? If so, there are no other requirements besides the completion of you prerequisites that you have to worry about. I hope to see you on campus!

My average was 89% when I got accepted to George Brown College's September 2016 intake. ( Math-70, Bio-95, Chem-94, Eng-98 ). Your average is 85%, from that I would think you have a good shot of getting accepted.

Hi NewRPN85! I have a question in regards to shoes and stethoscopes. Does GBC have shoes that you must purchase ? Certain brand or make? Or can you purchase any white shoe? I saw on the gbc website that you can purchase a stethoscope from them for 90+ $. Are you required to purchase that one, or are you allowed to purchase any kind you'd like? Thankyou.

Good point! And thank you NewRPN 85 for your advice. The program will be challenging but worth it in the end! Do you have any advice for clinicals? Any thing you would tell yourself now in retrospect?

Hey hjk1234, my average for my February 2nd acceptance was 89%. My mark break down is , 12C Chemistry 94, 12C English 98, 11C Biology 95 and 11 mixed Math 70.

Hi Lisa Stone, congratulations! I too got accepted into the practical nursing program at George Brown College! After careful thought and deliberation I accepted my offer yesterday and could not be more confident about my choice.The campus is absolutely beautiful and the lab looks amazing! Have you been on a campus tour? If not, I strongly suggest it. I can not wait for September to come!
