Hello, I applied for a Forensic Autopsy Technician job with my county. I have an exam to take next Friday which is a written exam. Does anyone know of any suggestions or tips for this test and what may be on it! I was to prepare myself as much as possible this is geared towards the career I want in the future as a Forensic Pathologist.

You have until September if you are accepted. I sen someone who previously posted that someone they knew took Physiology during the Summer at UCLA. I have a few pre reqs left to complete but I will have them done by May ... If anything happens I can do physio at UCLA if I'm accepted. I still think I have a good chance of getting in. Look into Summer school. You might find evening classes! Just do research... I pray your accepted! Don't give up! It's too early.

Just received an email that I need to send in my official transcripts from the 2 schools I have attended by January 15th, 2015. Just to keep updated with eachother. Soooooo nerve racking. Goodluck to everyone!

I submitted my application on Monday. I haven't received that email ...yet. Seems that I will get it soon. All of my recommendations have been submitted before I submitted my application. I wish everyone the best. I hope I get in! This is my top choice. I felt so sick and mixed emotions when I submitted it. Now we all wait till...April.!! lol

If you have the document for a Fee Waiver for the $90 application... Do you still need to pay the 90 before submitting the application?

I am from Fresno. I attend Fresno State & graduated high school a year early. If accepted I plan to move to LA & live possibly in campus apartments. Thank you so much.

My undergrad is Fresno State, I am taking in progress courses and I will have 2 more classes in progress next semester before I am complete with all pre-reqs. My GPA is about 3.0.. not the best but I believe with my background, experience and disadvantage that I still would be a strong candidate coming straight from undergrad.

Yeah! I think my SOP is very good and with the people that are reading mine it is just making it spark even more because they assist in wording things in different ways. I am applying to multiple schools like Azusa, UC Davis...and more I have a long list as well as out of state schools. UCLA is my #1 pick.

I am doing okay with mine. I am still having a few professors and peers read it to make it better but besides that I have it written and typed up. I plan to submit my app at the latest on the 15th. My letters of recs should be done by then too.

I feel very confident after attending an information session because ... Specifically Rhonda as well as the students had emphasis that it was not difficult to get a job with this program and degree. This program is where I would really like to be! Contact the admission officers!

I am currently taking Epidemiology and Physiology. Next semester I plan to finish my pre reqs with Organic Chem and Micro. I will have my public health BA in spring when I graduate. I have experience in children's hospital, and I am currently a Certified Nursing assistant with Alzheimer's and dementia. I have worked with all ages as well. I currently also work with the county with Children Protective Services as well as Behavior Health Department. I believe I have a qualifying background. I have had some hardships causing me to get C in 2 golf my prereqs this past summer. I have been working on my statement of purpose. I'm very nervous. I hope this is for me because I really want it. I will be attending the informational session tomorrow.

Have you guys completed all your pre-reqs. If so what were your grades? Have you started working on your Statement of Purpose? Who is going to the informational on the 15th? Just Curious.

Hey All, my name is Karina! I am also applying to UCLA MECN program! This is the top school that I want to attend next fall.
