  1. Hello! I have been doing WW for 2 years now (lost 100lb), and I work as a receptionist for WW on my day off from Work. I start my night with 5pm as if it were 5am, then at midnight pretend it is noon, but I usually eat around 2am. Then when a I get home in the AM eat a light meal like toast and a banana. It's kinda tricky, so If I need to eat and dont want to use up all my "night" points" I keep Zero point soup handy in the freezer to hold me over. Just whatever works for you! Bring your own snacks so you wont feel tempted! Hope that helps!
  2. Wow, and we wonder why we are short staffed! I was leary about starting my new job because my Mom works there also on Nights as an RN, I thought people would snub me because "my mom works there" kind of attitude. But luckily they were all really helpful and very patient with me. Some weren't but I just kept trying to learn, and get the hang of things. I used to work in housekeeping at a different hospital, and funny how going from a housekeeper to an LPN changed everyone's attitude towards me. I hate that!
  3. Well where I work as an LPN, being IV certified is a requirement for the job, which is why I am currently taking the course. I can't wait to be cert. because I hate having to go to another Nurse to shut the darn pump off if it's going off for some reason, and then getting them to give my meds. I can do initial assessments as long as another nurse signs off that I correctly did the assessment. And, I usually do something else for the RN that is doing my IV stuff, so that she isn't behind in her work. Although, remember most LPNs are getting their RN, so don't scare em off!!
