  1. Yes to the study buddy! haha, I know from experience you cannot survive nursing school without a study group. So, I'm all for it! I rec'd that email about 8/8 as well. I was hoping it was going to be a little earlier so that we could talk about the housing thing, but it's ok.. haha. I'm excited to meet our cohort! Do you think you can forward me the link to Evolve? I've been waiting for IT to reopen my username/pw for the student portal/loudcloud, but it's taking awhile. I have a Facebook in case you want to just direct message me there, instead of this public site lol. My name on Facebook should be Maybelle Concepcion; it should say I graduated from GCU and I work at LabCorp.
  2. I just moved from California to Phoenix, and now Phoenix to Tucson. I did find an apartment that was in a much nicer area about 10-15mins from the campus. But I'm looking for a roommate, which is turning out to be a lot more complicated because GCU can't give out info about each other. And I know what you mean. I want to be prepared, too. I haven't gotten a required booklist yet; I have to renew my GCU info from when I finished my 1st undergrad degree. Thanks for the reply though! I'm sure we'll meet up in Tucson really soon :)
  3. I am also moving to Tucson for GCU's Nursing program. Have you figured out your housing situation yet?? I just visited Tucson this past weekend to look for apartments.
