  1. Hi! I found your post through a google search on medical missions. That was a month ago and I've been researching about the organization extensively and as someone who's always wanted to go on a medical mission focusing on women's health, PINCC sounds like the right fit for me. I've already sent them my CV and just waiting to hear back. I'm hoping I can join them for a week in March for their Tanzania trip. (I'm a full time LVN and taking classes to get into the RN program) I was just wondering if you could give me more info about your trip in Kenya? Thank you so much :)
  2. Hello! I am hoping to get a job as a school LVN, but worried about the pay. If you don't mind me asking, how much was your salary? I'm from CA as well. Thank you!
  3. Hello! I am currently applying for a school nurse position. I'm an LVN with only one year experience in mental health and LTC. I love working in psych but it's so draining mentally and emotionally that it's been affecting my personal life. I have decided to make a change and move on to something that will make me less miserable. I LOVE children and have always wanted to work in an environment that helps mainly kids. I've done some research and from what I've read, school nurses make next to nothing. I make $48k at my psych job and I'm just worried that it's going to be a huge cut. I support my family and I'm very frugal so I'm able to live comfortably with what I make, but I'm worried that I won't be able to save anything and go back to living paycheck to paycheck if I take a job as a school nurse. However, I do want a less stressful job (for now at least) and actually be happy and love what I do. For any of you LVNs who are working as school nurses in CA, if you could pls state your salary and experience working as a school nurse, that would be great :) Thank you!
