To those who were waitlisted.... Did you get in!? I got an email on August 1 saying I got accepted in the ABSN program. I called in April & she said I was #13 on the waitlist for ABSN and she offered to put my name on the Traditional list too to up my chances (she said it would most like be the Traditional that I would get in.. not the Accelerated)..... I've emailed back my acceptance but now I'm thinking I should ask if there's a way to do the Traditional vs the ABSN (I have a 5yo & a 3yo. Married but husband's Army & works a lot).

To anyone who was waitlisted... did you get in!?

What are your stats if you don't mind me asking? & just try again in the spring for the traditional program instead of accelerated

They're not. I wasn't accepted for this Spring and it was point-blank "unfortunately we couldn't offer you a spot" type deal.

I'm not sure but there's another forum on here with people who say they got accepted. I'll ask in there

I think I'm going to call on Monday to ask where exactly I am on the list. I've heard a lot of people who got into other schools and just had to accept the other offers because LCON was taking so long. Last semester I applied for traditional and I didn't get in so this is a step-up (trying to see the positives!)

So I got my email this morning around 815am and they're offering me a position on the waitlist. I've never been on any form of waitlist in this sense in my life so I'm not sure how it works... can I ask them what position I'm in on the waitlist? They want me to email them back from April 10th with my decision. Obviously I just emailed them back now with less than an hour from the email they sent me with me gladly accepting (of course not as glad as I'd be if I happen to get in 100%). Curious if anyone knows of the waitlist process?

I got my BA from Memphis so that had a big factor of me applying there. I probably will go ahead and apply at UT because this is crazy waiting this long with all these rumors and hearsay with some people already hearing back

I did see that but I spoke with a current student and they say it's not that good... something about how the professors can be better. But I can be wrong... I don't really know her personally so it could be just her not trying her best.

To anyone who's applied before & didn't get in, did you receive an email or letter?? I received an email this Spring when I didn't get in... I don't recall receiving a letter. Just curious if maybe that's why we haven't heard anything. Oh and my 'status' on the application page never went to 'declined' either

exactly. It doesn't make any sense at all. I would think too that they would send them all at the same time

3.56 science gpa 3.0 overall -applied for traditional in the spring accelerated for the fall

I applied for the ABSN Fall 2017, applied for this past spring ABSN too & didn't get in. I was on campus today seeing my advisor for my 'plan B degree' and as I was leaving she got a chat from the front desk saying that one of her current students she advises got her acceptance letter just as we were talking. So they are going out. I'd say by the end of next week everyone would hear something!!!
