  1. HopeRules, I talked to the lady from the enforcement department of the BRN and she told me to just send my letter and reference letters. Do you know of an attorney that I could speak to in CA? I appreciate your feedback.
  2. Hello all, When I was 18 I received an open container ticket in which the judge changed it to a traffic infarction instead of a misdemeanor when I went to court. I didn't put it on my application because I was unsure about reporting it because my ticket paid was $230. I received a letter from the brn stating that "they need to determine if there is a cause to deny my application". I need to "write a signed and detailed letter describing the circumstances surrounding my conviction". I am unsure what I should exactly say to make sure I am eligble. I also need letters from my community & am unure what they should say also to make them ok me. I would appreciate any help or feedback I am WORRIED. Thanks so much!
  3. jnurse86, I am going through something similar. I recieved an open container ticket when I was 18. It was a ticket for a traffic infarction and not a misdemeanor. I recieved a letter stating my application was referred to the enforcement department to determine if there is a cause for them to deny it. I am freaking out. I don't know exactly what they want any of the letters to say for them to allow for me to test. I would appreciate any feedback to help me out. Thank you!
  4. I am going through something similar I received an open container ticket when I was 18 because my friend was drinking in the car. I was not arrested or anything. I went to court and the judge said that if I paid all the fine that day he would only make it a traffic infarction. I did not know that it was listed on my record as an "open container ticket" so I didnt report it. I received a letter from the brn stating that I need to show all these documents and I am worried I will get denied. I can fill you in with anything I find out.
