  1. My LPN Program is also 8 months. Fall and Spring semesters from August to May. It is normally three semesters if you have not already completed A&P, English, Psych, etc.
  2. I start my LPN program next month (August 24th) and will be done in May. The program is 1-year. However, since I am transferring Pre-Nursing courses from another school, it's only 9 months for me.
  3. I just got accepted into the LPN program. I start next month (August 24, 2015).
  4. I work PRN and go to school as well. At first, I used to pick up a lot of extra night shifts. I stopped picking up because my job sucks, tired of working short and they don't care about their employees. Thank goodness I don't need the extra money. They call me all the time about picking up extra shifts. I told them I only work 11-7. They always try to get me to work 7-3 and 3-11. They even be asking me to stay over after my shift. Now, my job has started texting me. It has got to the point where I just ignore their phone calls and texts. I have no problem saying "No." Only go to work and pick up when you choose. Don't feel bad. To hell with what your nurses and co-workers say or think.
  5. I just recently took and passed the TEAS V at EGCC. You need an overall score of 60% to pass. I am hoping to start the LPN program in August (Fall 2015). The program runs from May-May of each year. I am transferring credits from another school, so I am able to skip the first semester (which is just Pre-Nursing courses).
