Hello Future Classmates! Do we also have to take money to buy our books when we attend orientation?

Yeah I was wondering that too. Since I am transferring from a community college, this tuition payment is a whole lot different. Can someone please help explain to me how this process works?

Did you all receive the transfer orientation email? Is that a separate orientation that we must attend apart from the nursing orientation which is happening in July?

I am guessing it will be addressed during orientation maybe?

Hello JoCl89, I had a quick question to ask. See I am interested in applying to the Mount but I am a little concern in regards to whether or not I can afford it. Since it is I believe around 20k a year for an associates degree. Was that a concern that you had when deciding to attend there? And how are you managing to afford it? Any information would help, thanks in advance :)

Hello joannavn, LVN so after reading about what happened to you I decided to call them and the same thing happened to me i called rio hondo adn program and apparently they had not received it and told me to call and double make sure with ATI and i called ATI and they said rio hondo should have my scores but apparently the recipient name of the person who needs to receive them has not been updated and I left a voicemail as well. Have you heard any news?

joannavn,LVN omg good thing you called and made sure they had them but I hope it all works out because that is very important. Since I also took the TEAS at another school I just ordered my transcripts to be sent to rio hondo on monday so I am going to call and make sure they have them. Thank you for letting me know :)

Hi Juliocesarsalad, yes I took my teas exam at another college. Yeah i was a bit confused because I didnt want it to affect me that I am enrolled in school and applying for the same term to another.

Hello everyone, i had another question to ask you guys. Have any of you applied to the school itself to obtain your student id number to include it in the application? If so, what term did you select when applying because all i see is fall and what if i am still attending my current college in the fall? Thanks in advance :)

I have a 3.3 science GPA 3.57 cummulative GPA 224 volunteering hours First generation college student Need to work 69% on TEAS on first attempt just thought i'd share my stats too :)

joannavn,LVN you scored a good score on your first attempt on your Teas, I got a 69% but I at least passed lol í ½í¹ˆ I too get nervous just thinking about how many other applicants there are

And they also give you points for other things so that is one thing I like about rio hondo
