  1. Thanks so much @starvingRtist. I was able to resolve the issue
  2. Ok so regarding my previous post, I was able to go though the process of navigating my way to get to the shopping cart but CunyFirst is telling me "you do not have access to enrollment at this time". I found it to be a bit odd. Do I have to go to the nursing department or IT to resolve it? Or?
  3. Hi y'all can someone please walk me through the process of how to register for the nursing courses? I got the codes but I'm lost. I go about the normal way by first selecting the college, the term year and hit the search button but when the courses show up, I don't see a "select" button next to the courses in order to place them in my shopping cart.
  4. How did the final go? How was the course? Who did you take it with please?
  5. Called the department this afternoon to ask about the clearance form and was told and I quote, "She's working on it right now". The lady I spoke to did not specify when we would get them but I'm assuming we should be receiving it through email by the end of this week. Latest by next week...
  6. Nope! Still haven't gotten it. I made an appointment with my doctor last week for tomorrow July 1st and had to call to postpone because of the delay from Lehman. It's ridiculous because the clearance form has a deadline and there's no guarantee that the doctor's office will give you a sooner appointment date before the deadline
  7. Hey, I was accepted into generic but giving that for this year, the competition was tough ( I would say about 60% of the applicants for this year generic had 4.0's science gpa) it would be safe to strive for a 4.0 gpa; The minimum being 3.8 because accelerated at Lehman takes only 20 applicants so the competition there is much tougher. For HESI strive for 90 in all sections. Good luck :)
  8. @ sels The orientation package said "no sneakers". I think it's tedious but reading everything in the package will be helpful especially later on in the program..
  9. @ Jodie im a "more than one" person too but I spoke with a friend who is currently in the program at Lehman and she said one would suffice. We would wear the uniform 2 days in a week for clinicals and can wash it/let it dry to get it ready for the following week so one will do for now. $94 is a bit much considering we have other materials to purchase
  10. The orientation package is emailed to you after you've turned in your confirmation form. I turned mine in on Monday and received the package today Wednesday via email. It includes insurance liabity info n where to apply, CPR, uniform n equipment purchasing and health clearance report n clinical info. I'm sure if you haven't received yours yet, it's on the way. The nursing department has been short on staff recently so it's hard to get things to speed up. With that said, permission to register for class I believe willing be granted after the health clearance, insurance liabity, etc is completed. I could be wrong but I'm assuming once the package is emailed, additional information concerning the registration of classes will be emailed..
  11. To be honest I think we need to exercise patience because if you got accepted then definitely an orientation package will be emailed to you. It's all a matter of waiting a bit. The main goal which was to notify those who got accepted is done so just be patient ya'll. í ½í¸Š
  12. The nursing department is sort of inactive on weekends so I'm assuming from Monday onward we should be getting the nursing packages.
  13. @ Giselle No, because some people don't get their acceptance until July. There are some days before June ends anyway so I'm guessing others who haven't gotten their acceptance will be receiving them before then. 70 seats is quite better than the previous 60 seats so don't lose hope. Good luck Hun. Hope you get in!
  14. @ nursing2017 I got me acceptance email on the 17th but still no acceptance letter. What I heard is that they're sending out acceptance emails first. My friend told me she called and the secretary told her if anyone did not receive an acceptance email by today then there is a lesser chance they'll get one but that may not be the case so I'm just waiting patiently for the letter.
  15. Just got my acceptance email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). For future candidates: Cum gpa:3.3Science gpa:3.70 Pre-req gpa:3.65 HESI:86 Hope we all get in!
  16. I called them this morning and was told that we should be hearing from them by Friday into next week.
  17. I think they're going to say the same thing: that the Letters are being mailed. Hopefully some people should be hearing back this week
  18. Damn. Just wish I could fast forward to next week
  19. In regards to how Lehman weights their science courses: Bio is worth more than chem because Lehman weighs chem lecture and Chem lab differently that's why you get two separate grades for it. I thought it was weird but when I took organic chem the professor said many colleges do it that way. Hence, that's why on the nursing application, there's a grade calculator for the chem labs but not for the biology courses.
