After worrying for these last couple of months, I was accepted into Lehman College's nursing program for Fall 2015. They just sent out acceptance letters via email from Patricia Butler. Good luck to all who applied!

I am with dying with anticipation waiting for that admission letter to come in. Nothing has been sent out as of yet though. Probably by next week

I agree. The people from Lehman's nursing department and even the woman who administers the exam every year told me that the HESI is either pass or fail. Its only to get you in the door. All they care about is your GPA.

Thank you for replying. I thought no one was going to. I spoke to the woman who administers the HESI exam at Lehman College and she told me all they worry about is a high GPA. She also told me that the HESI exam is just to pass or fail. If we pass each section with a 73 we automatically get in ONLY if our GPA is high. Have you heard about this as well?

You are fine. My friend has a 3.6 GPA and passed the exam with an 86. She got into the Lehman nursing program last year. Now me? I'm really worrying. I have a 3.8 GPA in the prerequisites but I passed the hesi with a 81. I wonder if I will get into Lehman's Nursing program for Fall 2015. I'm stressing like crazy. For reading comprehension I scored 82%...and in the subsection Conclusions I scored 66%. I hope they dont factor in that part...god I am praying I get in. I studied. If anyone knows..please let me know so I can get a piece of mind!

I am in shambles. I have been working entirely hard studying while trying to take care of my family all to receive an 81 on my HESI exam this past weekend. My overall GPA in all of the prerequisites is a 3.8. I got an A in all courses but chemistry where I received a B+. I really can't afford to wait a whole year again. I had a C-section that became infected and I had to miss the first HESI exam in 2014. The job I have is just getting us by and if I have to apply to another university I will have pay out of pocket because they are way more expensive. Feels like my life is going nowhere I can't even sleep. Any nursing students from Lehman College? I would like to know if I had a chance of getting in. Or if there are other sites where I can retake the exam. Thanks
