How do YOU do it? I had many at camp last summer and some were just hard to get and stressful. Looking for tips for this year.
  2. As a nurse and a parent I see the benefits and the hassles. I did camp meds last year because I thought it would be easier, even though I was the only one giving the meds and she was my daughter. I thought every thing cam prepackaged. Nope, her allergy medicine came in the same big messy bottle we have at home. So what did I need them for? This year she is also taking singular. I didn't even know we were going this year until June 1. Now camp meds wants me to pay $60 to package her singulair and send a bottle? They didn't even send anything to measure it with. I'm just bringing it myself, considering it a job perk.

Thanks guys. I agree, it's the boring one nobody cares about until they have to care. I like the 6 B 's I will try that. I never consider the sex Ed part, last year it was all females, including staff. Though I shouldn't assume anything!

Hello! NP from Ohio here. Going to a camp in Maine this year. They have a whole summer, 8 week option and then two four week sessions, and some can even go for two weeks. We ( my 8 and 10 year old) are going for the first 4 week session. My daughter and I went to a small girls camp in NC last summer. But this year wanted to include my son. They are super excited, as am I. I had some unexpectedly severe homesickness last year myself. I am hoping this year is better because both my kids will be there. My husband will be holding down the homestead alone. But I don't think I will miss him too much.

Hi. Looking for any resources folks might have to the staff/counselor lecture we do at the beginning of the session. I did one last summer but didn't save anything, it was pretty boring anyways. At a different camp and I'm in charge this year. Thank!
